Laura joined STScI in 2013 as a postdoctoral researcher in the HSTPROMO group, working with Roeland van der Marel. Before coming to Baltimore, she was a postdoc at the MPIA in Heidelberg working with Glenn van de Ven, and a graduate student at the University of Cambridge, working with Wyn Evans and Vasily Belokurov. Her research combines theory and observations to understand the formation, evolution, and current dynamical state of stellar systems, with a particular interest in globular clusters.
