Explore Missions Publications

Through our library, you are able to explore thousands of publications made possible by our missions. These papers analyze mission data from the Hubble Space Telescope or present a significant overview of the use, maintenance, or design of telescope instruments for Hubble, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), and the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope.

We actively curate papers that analyze telescope data to reach a scientific conclusion. Wherever possible, we link publications to the datasets used to produce the findings. Tracking scientific impact and data use of our missions through publications is one measure of the Space Telescope Science Institute’s influence on the worldwide astronomical community and helps us understand how research is conducted and shared in the era of multi-wavelength, multi-mission collaborations, and increasingly large and complex data sets.
